Nam Phou Square, Luang Prabang (29 December, 2005)


Namphou Square is a public square in Luang Prabang. It is located between Chou Fa Ngum Road and Phothisirath Road. The word "namphou" means fountain, and refers to the fountain in the middle of the square.

I passed by Namphou Square on my way to and from the guesthouse I was staying, and decided to document it as one of the landmarks in Luang Prabang.
