Lebuhraya Jelutong Hawker Centre (5 October 2012)
Lebuhraya Jelutong Hawker Centre (GPS: 5.38738, 100.31206) is a makeshift hawker centre in
Jelutong, Penang. Located a stone's throw from the Jelutong Post Office, it occupies the land between Lebuhraya Jelutong and the service road. The hawker centre has been operating for many years, and since then has garnered its fair share of good hawker stalls.
Among the hawker food available at the Lebuhraya Jelutong Hawker Centre include
murtabak,
roti canai,
economy bihun,
fried oyster,
bak moy, hoo moy,
curry mee,
satay,
chee cheong fun,
laksa,
lok lok,
Hokkien mee,
Lor Bak and salted fish fried bihun, among others. Also available here are sweet desserts such as
bubur cha cha,
cendol and leng chee kang. The stalls began operating at sundown.

On this visit, we had the economy bee hoon, char koay teow and Hokkien Mee. The economy bee hoon is quite nice. The char koay teow is normal, while the Hokkien Mee is below par. Here they are.
