Leng Eng Tong (Traditional Chinese: 靈應堂, Simplified Chinese: 靈应堂) is a small temple in West Jelutong, Penang. Located deep within the Chinese settlement of Jelutong, the temple dates back to the late 19th century, some say to 1892.

The main deity venerated at Leng Eng Tong is the Sun She Chi San Fu Qian Sui. A plethora of Taoist deities are also worshipped here, among them the Bao Sheng Da Di, the goddess of mercy, the Tai Su Yah and the Tua Pek Kong.

Getting there

You can take Rapid Penang bus 301, 302, 303 and 401 to Jalan Jelutong (see map). From there, turn into one of the country lanes, following the temple signboard to reach Leng Eng Tong.
