The Light Waterfront Pedestrian Crossing (12 March 2013)


c The Light Waterfront Pedestrian Crossing is a pedestrian bridge across the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway in front of The Light Waterfront development in Gelugor, Penang. It was originally constructed when the Penang Bridge was built, but was rebuilt several years later, when the highway underwent widening.

The Light Waterfront Pedestrian Crossing is one of two pedestrian bridges along this stretch. The other one is slightly to the north, near the Marine Department. Unlike that other bridge, this one is solely for the use of pedestrians, as it does not have access ramps for cyclists.
