Jalan Lim Eow Thoon, George Town, Penang (30 June 2018)
Jalan Lim Eow Thoon (Traditional/Simplified Chinese: 林耀椿路), formerly known as Lim Eow Thoon Road, is a road in George Town, Penang. It connects Anson Road with Perak Road and forms the northern border for the Taman Nirvana neighbourhood. In between Lim Eow Thoon Road also forms junctions with several minor roads of which the largest is Nirvana Road. Other roads connected to Lim Eow Thoon Road include Yeoh Cheang Aun Road, Bodhi Avenue and Kim Bian Aik Road.
The namesake of Lim Eow Thoon Road is one of the imminent Chinese of the late 19th century. He was active at the Chinese Recreation Club as well as the Penang Turf Club.
Getting there
There are no bus services on Lim Eow Thoon Road. The nearest bus stops are on Perak Road and Anson Road, both served by Rapid Penang bus 10.
