The Light Waterfront in
Gelugor, Penang. Built at a cost of RM80 million, it is named after its owner, Prof Lin Xiang Xiong, a world-renowned artist. The 7-storey structure will house retail shops, a basement car park and a restaurant. The gallery itself will have a floor area of 86,929 sqft. The art gallery will showcase 300 pieces of Prof Lin's artwork, with another 200 or so being rotated periodically.
Construction of the gallery began on 14 December 2020. It was supposed to have been completed by the end of 2023, but is still incomplete as of January 2025.
