Line Clear Nasi Kandar at homeLine Clear Nasi Kandar at home (26 March 2016)

Ever since we had the Line Clear Nasi Kandar some two weeks ago, we were incredibly surprised that it is better than we had expected. This is following Line Clear's recent change in management. So today, since we were to busy to prepare our lunch at home (since we have so much cooking to do in preparation for Easter in church tomorrow), we decided to pack Line Clear Nasi Kandar for lunch.

We arrived at Line Clear at 9:00 am. Despite it being known as a 24-hour nasi kandar, the reality is if you go during its off hours, the number of dishes is quite limited. We were a little disappointed that the ladies fingers were not ready. So we ordered two packs with chicken and boiled egg. Alas, other items were not ready.

This is how the Line Clear Nasi Kandar looks like at home. And I tell you, it is just as delicious eaten at home. The ayam kicap pekat is soft, the meat comes away nicely. Our only wish is that there were more dishes ready, but even with the limited choice this morning, I was satisfied with the meal.

About this website

Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.

While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
