Lorong Bukit Kukus, Paya Terubong, Penang (23 March 2013)


Lorong Bukit Kukus is a hill road in Paya Terubong, Penang. It was created when the hill area made way for development. Today Lorong Bukit Kukus is lined with high-rise apartment blocks. Among the residential properties located along this road include Sun Moon City, Bukit Awana Condominium, Grandview Heights and Bukit Saujana Apartment.

Updates

12 May, 2014: The New Straits Times reported that Jalan Bukit Kukus will be extended to link with Lorong Bukit Kukus, to eventually connect Lebuhraya Thean Teik with Lebuh Bukit Jambul. The project is expected to only be completed in six years.

Getting there

Lorong Bukit Kukus is not served by a bus route. The nearest bus route is at Tingkat Paya Terubong 2 which is about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest apartment, Sun Moon City. The bus stop is served by Rapid Penang bus 306 and 502.
