Macallum Street Ghaut PDC Flats (GPS: 5.40716, 100.3328) are low-cost flats built on the reclaimed land of Macallum Street Ghaut. They comprise the low-rise, medium-rise and high-rise blocks. All are located off either Macallum Street Ghaut or Cecil Street Ghaut.

The low-rise blocks face Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway. There are three blocks namely Block 340, 342 and 344. Each is 5 storeys tall. These are walk-up flats.

The medium-rise blocks are located immediately behind the low-rise blocks. These are 12 storeys tall. There are also three of them, namely Block 346, 348 and 350.

Rising behind the medium-rise blocks are the two high-rise blocks, 352 and 354. They are 22 storeys tall.

The nearest market is the Macallum Street Ghaut Market. SRJK (C) Li Tek just within walking distance is the nearest school. The nearest petrol station is the Shell at Jalan Perusahaan Jelutong. The nearest shopping malls are all a short distance away too, among them 1st Avenue Mall, Prangin Mall and Komtar. The nearest hospitals include the Penang General Hospital, Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre and Gleneagles Medical Centre.

Traffic along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway is heavy for most of the day, with congestions regularly building up during the rush hours. However, the traffic lights at the Macallum Street Ghaut intersection enables easy access.
