Main Street Cafe (GPS: 5.42135, 100.33285) is a 24-hour restaurant at Cititel Penang. It is located at the far end of the hotel lobby. The restaurant offers a continuous selection of buffet meals throughout the day, with a wide array of dishes from breakfast through lunch and to dinner. The restaurant is equipped with 24-hour broadband Internet access, enabling diners the freedom to surf the web when they dine at the restaurant.

Main Street Cafe is one of the hotel restaurants in Penang that I have featured on my "Tim Introduces" food series. We did the photoshoot on 26 June, 2016, when I have the opportunity to observe the restaurant team working together to showcase what Main Street Cafe has to offer. I am gratified to see the meticulous attention to detail, and am pleased to say that the food at Main Street Cafe is as soon as it looks.

Buffets at Main Street Cafe

Main Street Cafe offers theme lunch buffets on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm, dinner buffets on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and supper porridge buffets on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10:30 pm to 2:00 am. At time of writing (July 2016), the lunch buffets are priced at RM57 nett (adult), RM29 nett (child) and RM40 nett (senior citizen); dinner buffets at RM86 nett (adult), RM43 nett (child) and RM59 nett (senior citizen); supper buffets at RM22 nett per person. Price is inclusive of 6% Goods & Services Tax (GST).
