Cheras-Kajang Expressway (E7), also called the Grand Saga Highway, is an expressway between the town of Cheras in Kuala Lumpur and Kajang in Selangor. This 8-lane expressway (the first in the country to be so wide) has nine interchanges and one rest area. It was built at a cost of RM275 million. Construction began in late 1998, and toll collection began on 15 January, 1999. The name Grand Saga is the name of the expressway's concessionaire.
As of 15 October, 2015, tolls are collected at the Batu 9 Toll Plaza for south bound motor vehicles, and at the Batu 11 Toll Plaza for the north sound motor vehicles. The toll is RM0.70 for taxis, RM0.90 for buses, RM1.30 for passenger cars (vehicles with 2 axles and 3-4 wheels excluding taxis) and RM2.60 for vans and lorries (vehicles with 2 axles and 3-6 wheels excluding buses).
Exit 701: PGA Interchange
Exit 701A goes to Jalan Medan Masria for reaching the Pasukan Gerakan Am Base (PGA), Taman Cuepacs, Taman Cheras Permata, Taman Cheras Awana, Taman Segar Perdana and Taman Bukit Hartamas.
Exit 701B goes to the East-West Link Expressway (E37), to reach Taman Connaught, and continuation to Bandar Tun Razak, Bangsar, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.
Exit 702: Hulu Langat Interchange
Exit 702 takes you to Pekan Batu 9 Cheras and Pekan Hulu Langat. From here, you can continue on to Jalan Lama Cheras (Federal Route 1), Sungai Pangsoon (B52), Sungai Congkak (B52), visit the Sungai Gabai Waterfall (B52) and Sungai Tekali Waterfall (B52).
Exit 703: Telekom Interchange
From Exit 703 going west takes you to Jalan Kota Cheras, to the housing estates of Kota Cheras, Taman Damai Jaya, Taman Sri Cheras, Taman Putri Jaya, Taman Legenda Mas, Taman Tun Perak and Taman Cheras Mas. If you in the northeast direction, that takes you to Jalan Lama cheras, Pekan Batu 9 Cheras, Sungai Pangsoon (B52), Sungai Congkak (B52), Air Terjun Sungai Gabai (B52) and Air Terjun Sungai Tekali (B52).
Exit 704: Bandar Tun Hussein Onn Interchange
From Exit 704 heading west takes you onto Lebuh Utama Tun Hussein Onn, and onwards to Bandar Tun Hussein Onn and Cheras Perdana. Heading west takes you onto Persiaran Mahkota Cheras 1, onwards to Bandar Mahkota Cheras.
Batu 11 Toll Plaza
Toll plaza for north-bound motor vehicles. Somewhere between Exit 704 and 705 is a Park & Rest for the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn MRT Station.
Exit 705: Balakong Interchange
This is a half-diamond interchange. Exiting here takes you to Jalan Balakong (Route 3211), and onwards to Balakong. If you are coming from the north, Exit 705 connects with the next, Exit 706, so you should exit here to go to the SILK Highway (E18), and onwards to Mines Resort City, Seri Kembangan and Sungai Besi.
Exit 706: Sungai Long Interchange
This is a half-diamond interchange. Exiting here takes you to Jalan Sungai Long and onwards to Bandar Sungai Long and Bandar Mahkota Cheras. Coming from the south, this exit also links to Exit 705, so this is where you exit the expressway if you are heading towards Balakong. Exit 706 also connects you to the SILK Highway for onward journey to Semenyih and Seremban.
Exit 707: Bukit Dukung Interchange
This interchange takes you to Jalan Cheras-Kajang, the old trunk road (aka Federal Route 1). Take this exit to go to Kampung Bukit Dukung. Near this exit is the Park and Rest for Taman Koperasi Cuepacs MRT Station.

This is the rest stop for north-bound motor vehicles.
Exit 707A: Sungai Balak Interchange
This trumpet interchange was created to connect the Grand Saga Expressway to the SILK Highway, for onward journey to Sungai Chua, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Puchong and KLIA.
Exit 708: Saujana Impian Interchange
The last interchange on the Grand Saga Expressway takes us to Exit 708, from where you continue on Jalan Cheras-Kajang, heading north to Kampung Bukit Dukung and Kampung Selamat, and heading south to Kajang town centre and Bangi. In the vicinity is the
Sungai Jernih MRT Station.
