Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (E31) is an expressway in Selangor, Malaysia. Also known by its acronym as the DASH Highway, the expressway has a total length of 20.1 km from Puncak Alam in the west to Damansara Perdana in the east. It forms interchanges with Guthrie Corridor Expressway E35 at the Denai Alam Interchange (Exit 3104), with Federal Route 15 at the LTSAAS Interchange (Exit 3106), the New Klang Valley Expressway E1 at the Sunway Damansara Interchange (Exit 3109) and the Damansara-Puchong Expressway E11 at the Penchala Interchange (Exit 3110).

The DASH Highway is the first expressway in Malaysia to be installed with sound barriers, to reduce noise pollution in the areas it passes through. The expressway is maintained by Prolintas through its subsidiary Projek Lintasan Damansara-Shah Alam Sdn Bhd (DASH). It was built at an estimated cost of RM11.5 billion. Construction of the expressway began in 2015, and it was opened to traffic on 14 October 2022.

The DASH Highway is measured from west to east, with Kilometre Zero at the Puncak Perdana Interchange. Let me now explain to you the expressway and the sights along the way. Refer to the map below for the numbered locations.

Toll

The expressway is presently toll free until 30 November 2022. Motorists still have to use the RFID or Touch 'n Go cards to use the expressway. I will update this page with toll amounts once it is announced.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
