Danga Bay, Johor Bahru (15 September, 2016)
Danga Bay is a bay in the estuary of the
Skudai River and Danga River in
Johor Bahru. It is a fast developing township to the west of downtown
Johor Bahru. The area is being developed into an upscale neighbourhood with several mammoth residential property developments. Served by Lebuhraya Skudai, it is the site of a massive residential development that will include one of the largest recreational parks in Malaysia. Among the sights already in Danga Bay include a floating restaurant and a waterfront promenade.
On the drawing board are many ambitious developments including Danga Island, a man-made island housing 152 ultra-luxurious villas. Other projects include Country Garden Danga Bay, Danga City Festive Mall, Danga World theme park, petting zoo, Danga cruise, and more. One of the sights here is Rumah Limas Johor, a showcase of Malay traditional house from the eight districts of Johor.
