Jalan Dato' Kapten Ahmad, Kluang

Jalan Dato' Kapten Ahmad, KluangJalan Dato' Kapten Ahmad, Kluang (4 August 2019)

Jalan Dato' Kapten Ahmad is a major road in downtown Kluang, Johor. It starts at the intersection with Jalan Sultanah, across from Jalan Haji Manan, and ends at the T-junction with Jalan Mersing, which is Federal Route 50. In between, it is intersected by Jalan Merdeka, and forms junction with Persiaran Yayasan and Jalan Sultan.

Information about Dato' Kapten Ahmad is sketchy and incomplete. Based on information I have been able to glean from the web1, he was born on 7 March 1888 and he passed away on 27 November 1956, and was buried at the Kluang Muslim Cemetery across from Econsave Kluang. Even from the roadside, you might be able to see this grave, as it is the most prominent one in the cemetery, and one that is surrounded by a yellow balustrade.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
