Palm Resort Golf & Country Club, Johor Bahru

Palm Resort Golf & Country Club is located in Senai, Johor Bahru. It was opened in 1995 by the then prime minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri (now Tun) Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Sinced then, the country club has won numerous awards including 10th Best Golf Resort in Asia 2007 from Asian Golf Monthly, and Best Golf Resort in Malaysia 2006/7 from Expatriate Lifestyle magazine.

Palm Resort Golf & Country Club has three 18-hole par 72 golf courses named Allamanda, Cempaka and Melati. The courses are all named after local flowers. Charges for visitors is RM160 green fees and RM35 buggy fees on weekdays, RM240 and RM35 for weekends. Membership is also available. Individual lifetime transferable membership (full family membership inclusive spouse and children below 21) is selling at a promotional rate of RM15,000 and a monthly subscription of RM173.55.

Club facilities include Olympic-size swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, table tennis, billiards/snooker, bowling alley, health centre, jacuzzi and sauna. In addition, the club also provides teambuilding facilities and other corporate events.
