Salahuddin Bakery (GPS: 1.45696, 103.76344) is an old-time bakery on Jalan Dhoby in Johor Bahru. If you are looking for beautiful Benggali loaves, this is the place to go. The bread is baked in the shop itself, using a wood fire oven. I learn that this is one of the oldest - possibly the oldest - bakery in Johor Bahru, having been around since 1937.
Benggali loaves are not the only item available at Salahuddin Bakery. There's also roti buns, curry puffs (Karipap), rempeyek and hot cross buns, just to name some.
If you wish to pay a visit to Salahuddin Bakery, it is open daily from 8:00am in the morning until 2:00pm, and is closed on Fridays.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
