Fendy Burger (GPS: 2.03515, 103.32149) is a popular burger stall in Kluang, Johor. Established in 1985, it operates from the roadside at Persiaran Dato Haji Ismail Hassan, in front of Kafe 37. Many of the locals in Kluang swear that this is the best burger stall in town. The stall starts operating at nightfall, and into the wee hours of the morning. Business is so good that it has expanded to two stalls side by side. You can see the number of customers congregating around it.
There are many reasons why Fendy Burger is so popular. When I was at the stall, I could see the eggs they use. They specially order extra large eggs, so each egg will almost be guaranteed to have two yolks.
I had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Mr Fendy himself, who founded his stall way back in 1985. He is still hard at work today, though his burger has turned into a cash cow. If you look at the number of burgers he make at one go, you would be blown away. As would be expected, each burger is a multi-layer pile of chicken or beef pate, sandwiched between a later of fried two-yolk egg, with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and generous dash of sauces and mayonnaise.
I have to thank Singapore cookbook author Evonne Lyn Lee for organizing this trip to Kluang, and to Pastor Lim Jit Pang for taking us here. Otherwise I would not have the chance to try this burger. Thank you, I enjoyed it very much!

Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
