Makan Angin & Masak Shepherd's Pie in a food trip to Kluang organised by food author Evonne Lyn Lee. It takes place on 3-5 August, 2019, and at time of writing, it is already fully booked. This trip offers food enthusiasts an opportunity to jalan-jalan (sight-see), makan-makan (feasting on local eats) and masak-masak (cooking session hosted at a local venue that showcases the destination's iconic specialities.
The itinerary includes visiting the Air Hitam home to porcelain and ceramic crafts. There is a mini replica of the 7 Wonders of the World. And of course, there will be street eats on the way.
Exclusively for participants of this food tour, there will be a masterclass with Barney Lim at Kluang's premier Western restaurant, followed by Barney's Omakase private dining of gournet dishes.
The must-eat on this trip is Kluang Asam Pedas - selalu shiok and sedap! Plus of course, more street eats!

For participants from Singapore, the package is inclusive of 2-way transportation via KTM train JB-Kluang-JB, 2-night hotel stay on twin-sharing basis with breakfast (single-occupancy different rates apply); main meals, pie baking clinic and cooking class at Barney's. Any additional meals outside of hotel breakfast is on personal account
