The Loving Sisters Mural (GPS: 2.04833, 102.57163) is a large wall mural in Muar, Johor. It graces a wall beside Veej Uniforms Concept Store at Jalan Arab, near Bulatan Jalan Bakri. The mural was painted by 28-year-old Russian mural artist Julia Volchkova. Sponsored by Aking Advertising & Signcraft Sdn Bhd, a local advertising agency, the mural measures close to 12 meters tall by 10 meters wide, and was completed in ten days, on 17 July, 2016.
The Loving Sisters mural was painted with two young local girls as the subject. They are 7-year-old Nur Najwa and her 3-year-old sister Nur Najiyah Amani, whom Volchkova met when she was at Dataran Tanjung Emas.
The mural was officiated by Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, the Johor State Executive Committee Member in charge of Tourism, Commerce and Consumerism on 18 July, 2016. That same day it was inscribed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the biggest portrait mural in the country.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
