Parit Jawa (GPS: 1.95862, 102.64367) is a small town in Muar District, Johor. It is located about 10 km south of Muar on Route 5. The town has a fishing village called Pantai Leka on the coast. In keeping with Johor's "colour coordinated" towns, most of the buildings at Parit Jawa are painted yellow.

Chwee Bee Keng Chon Ser Temple

Chwee Bee Keng Chon Ser Temple 麻属巴冬翠美古庙 (GPS: 1.95112, 102.63417) is a Chinese temple in Parit Jawa. It is the main temple for the Chinese village in that area. Today the temple comprises a main building and an annex. With its history going back to 18771, Chwee Bee Keng Chon Ser Temple is the oldest temple in the area, older than the Chinese temples in Muar town.
