Teluk Kerang in Pontian, Johor (15 September 2016)
Teluk Kerang (GPS: 1.41563, 103.4246) is a village in
Pontian, Johor. It is located 9 km to the south of
Pontian Kechil, on the way to
Kukup and
Tanjung Piai. The main road passing through here is Jalan Kukup, also called Route 95. If you take a small country road, Jalan Kampung Kubur, you will arrive at the sea. There is nothing much of tourist interest here, and most people simply drive past heading for Kukup.
How to reach Teluk Kerang
Take Route 95 (aka Jalan Kukup) heading south from Pontian Kecil. Kampung Teluk Kerang is immediately after you cross
Sungah Rambah. To reach the beach, turn right at the first junction after the river (pictured below).
