Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tinggi Segamat, also called Sekolah Tinggi Segamat, and originally Segamat High School, is one of the main secondary schools in Segamat, Johor. Comprising 17 buildings, it occupies an 11-acre plot of land to the southeast of Istana Hinggap. The school was established in 1914 as the Government English School - around the same time that Segamat itself was founded. This was to ensure that the newly established township of Segamat has an educational institution.

The first headmaster of the school was J.C. McHeyzer while V.A. Mathew was the Senior Assistant. The school was such an important part of Segamat, that the road leading to it is called School Road (Jalan Sekolah). There were name changes to the school through its long history, to Segamat Secondary English School, then to Sekolah Menengah Inggeris Segamat, and presently, to Sekolah Tinggi Segamat.

The landmark school building was constructed between 1926 and 1929, with the first batch of students occupying it from 1930. As of 2009, the principal is Tuan Haji Ayob Jantan.
