Sungai Mengkibol flowing through the heart of Kluang, Johor (5 August 2019)
Sungai Mengkibol is a river that flows through Kluang, Johor. Unlike many rivers on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia which flows west into the Straits of Malacca, Sungai Mengkibol flows north to empty into Sungai Melantai, which in turn empties into Sungai Sembrong.
The length of Sungai Mengkibol is approximately 18.5km. It flows right througn the heart of Kluang. Among the roads that cross it include Jalan Mardi, Jambatan Layang Village, Jalan Besar, Jalan Lambak, Jalan Wayang, Jalan Mersing (Federal Route 50), Persiaran Yayasan, Jalan Sultanah, Jalan Dato Tan Seng Leong and Jalan Mohd Salim.
