Church of St Michael (GPS: 6.11759, 100.37463) is a Roman Catholic parish church in
Alor Setar, Kedah. The church traces its beginning to missionary work conducted by French missionaries Father Page and Father Vignol in 1883, when they sailed up Sungai Kedah from Kuala Kedah. Eventually a small attap chapel was built in 1921 along Jalan Langgar and dedicated to St Michael.
The present church building replaced the original attap chapel in 1954. The church is noted for its welfare work, particularly during the Emergency years.
