Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim, Alor Setar

Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim (GPS: 6.114680, 100.364675) is one of three bridges across Sungai Kedah in Alor Setar.

Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim carries Jalan Raja across Sungai Kedah. The original bridge was built in 1941 and was known as the Bailey Iron Bridge. It did not last long though. The bridge was bombed by the Japanese during the Second World War.
