Anak Bukit, KedahAnak Bukit (GPS: 6.18364, 100.37461) is the royal town of Kedah. It is located on the northern bank of Sungai Anak Bukit, to the north of Alor Setar. Anak Bukit can be considered one of the suburbs of state capital. Anak Bukit is located within the Kota Setar District.
Anak Bukit is the location of Istana Anak Bukit, the royal palace and official residence of the Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah.
