The Ulu Legong Hot Spring (GPS: 5.81769, 100.93543) is a hot spring recreational area in Baling, Kedah. The water of Ulu Legong comes from a natural hot spring and is rich in dissolved minerals that are therapeutic to the skin.
The Ulu Legong Hot Spring is visited by those who are seeking treatment for skin ailments as well as from those who are visiting it for relaxation. The water of the hot spring is channeled into several ponds of varying sizes. Visitors are allowed to dip in the water. The temperature is kept at between 30°C to 60°C.
How to reach Ulu Legong Hot Spring
The hot spring area is some 22 km to the north of Baling town. From town, continue along Route 67 until the branch on the left to state route K10. Go along K10 until Kampung Lalang, where there's a T-junction to state route K702 on your right. Take K702 till the end, passing through rubber plantations, and you will eventually reach Ulu Legong Hot Spring.
