Petronas Gurun

Petronas Gurun (25 July, 2015)


Petronas Gurun (GPS: 5.82253, 100.47629) is a petrol station on the west side of Jalan Raya Gurun, in Gurun, Kedah. I stopped by at this petrol station when I was passing by on my way to explore various parts of Kedah. I went in to purchase some drinks within the station and had the most pleasantly memorable experience. This station epitomises the maxim of "Service With A Smile".

It is so rare (in Malaysia anyway) to have someone greet you when you in, and to be attended to like there is no more customer on earth. The staff at Petronas Gurun left such an indelible impression on me that I promised myself I will write about it on Exploring Malaysia, for all travellers to know.
