Sun Downer Mangrove Cruise is a sunset cruise offered by Dev's Adventure Tours at the the Kilim Geoforest Park in Langkawi, Kedah.
The cruise starts at 4pm, a perfect time to kickstart when everybody else is calling it a day. With diminished river traffic and dwindling crowd, you practically have the Kilim mangrove forest all to yourself (well, almost.. !)
The Sun Downer Mangrove Cruise takes guests on a leisurely cruise along the mangrove shoreline, drifting into the lesser and smaller channels with are totally undisturbed; this is a totally un-rushed ride. The boat traverses underneath the mangrove canopy; with soft commentaries and fun facts by our naturalist as guests casually glide along the undisturbed waters in the inner mangrove channels.
While enjoying the cruise, guests should keep a look-out for various wildlife as they emerge to catch the last setting sun of the day. The late afternoon sun throws a mirror image of the surrounding to create a nice backdrop for great photo opportunities.
The magnificent eagles will still be circling and ready to roost when we depart from Eagle Point.
The Sun Downer Mangrove Cruise takes guests to the terrace of the floating restaurant to enjoy a sun downer meal of specifically selected local fares including barbecued fish fillet, satay, Thai-style salad, stir-fried noodles with vegetables accompanied by tropical fruit platter and chilled drinks to end the day.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
