Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi (5 June, 2005)
Durian Perangin Waterfalls is a 14-tier waterfall cascading down the slopes of
Gunung Raya, on the northeastern part of
Pulau Langkawi. A short distance of walkway and pavillion was built at the lower reaches of Durian Perangin, but sadly, was also poorly maintained.
Climbing up the path along the side of the cascade eventually brings you to a lovely pool which is good for a dip after the long climb. Unlike other attractions in Pulau Langkawi, Durian Perangin Waterfalls is often overlooked by visitors as it is slightly out of the way, and can only be reached by rented vehicle.
