Padang Terap District, Kedah

Padang Terap District is a district in the northern part of Kedah. It is bordered by Thailand to the north, Sik District to the east, Pendang District to the southwest, Kota Setar District to the west, and Kubang Pasu District to the northwest. Padang Terap District has an area of 1357 sq km making it the third largest district in Kedah.

Padang Terap has several natural attractions including Pedu Lake, Ahning Lake, Bukit Wang Recreational Park and Puncak Janing Waterfall. The main town in Padang Terap is Kuala Nerang.
