Yan Kechil (GPS: 5.82744, 100.38688) is a Malay pekan in Yan District, Kedah. The town centre is at a crossroad where State Route K1 meets K146 (Jalan Guar Chempedak).

The scenery of Yan Kechil is one of flat rice plains. The country roads cutting through the paddy fields are lined with tall trees that are almost of uniform height. This is one of the most scenic rides I have taken in Kedah.
