Taman Negara Kuala Koh or Kuala Koh National Park, is the approach to Taman Negara from Kelantan. It is one of the four entrances to Taman Negara, the other three being Kuala Tahan, Merapoh and Tanjong Mentong.
Taman Negara Kuala Koh is entered by way of
Gua Musang. Be forewarned that it involves hours of driving. Look out for the sign for Kuala Koh or Taman Negara Kuala Koh. Be aware that a map posted along the highway is incorrect - it shows Terengganu and Sungai Lebir flowing on the left when these should to on the right.
The road passes through estate land and the signages can be described at best as sketchy. You will see oil palms along the way. The area is within the
Jajahan Gua Musang.
When you arrive at the national park, you are greeted with the Perhilitan signboard saying "Taman Negara Kelantan". What surprises me about the national park is that fishing - within a national park - appears to be allowed.
