Riding the Klang Valley LRT
It is so easy to ride the LRT using a Touch 'n Go stored value card. It can also be used for riding the
Klang Valley LRT and
KL Monorail. I use the Touch 'n Go which is on my Tesco Clubcard to take rides. I just need to make sure I have enough money in the card before I start my journey. I can top up the card any any of the stations.

Riding the Klang Valley LRT
To ride the LRT, you have to purchase the ticket, which comes in the form of blue tokens. You would touch the token to the sensor of the entrance gate to open the turnstile, and after the journey, drop the token into the slot at the exit gate to open the turnstile again.
The alternative to using the single-journey tokens is to purchase the MyRapid TnG card if you are a frequent traveller. The MyRapid TnG smart card can be used on the LRT, Monorail and BRT Sunway lines.
The ticket is purchase from the ticket machine which accepts banknotes, coins as well as credit cards. At the moment, the machine can be used to purchase tickets for the LRT, Monorail and Sunway Bus Rapid Transit. It can also be used to top up the MyRapid TnG smart cards.
