Asean Sculpture Garden, Kuala Lumpur (15 November, 2009)
Asean Sculpture Garden (GPS: 3.14934, 101.68478) is a garden within the sprawling grounds of the Perdana Botanical Gardens. Located just next to the National Monument, it houses various sculptures by award-winning sculptors from the Asean countries.
The Asean Sculpture Garden was commissioned in 1981. Each country in Asean is represented by a sculpture, usually an abstract piece that requires an interpretive board to explain what the piece is intended to represent.
