Badan Warisan Malaysia (GPS: 3.15053, 101.71668) is a non-governmental organisation based in Kuala Lumpur. Founded in 1983, it serves as the leading organisation in advocating heritage conservation and uplifting heritage awareness. The organisation occupies a heritage building at the corner between Jalan Conlay and Jalan Stonor in downtown Kuala Lumpur.
Among the properties belonging to Badan Warisan Malaysia include its office building, the Heritage Centre, and the adjacent traditional Malay house, Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman, as well as a Dutch-period house, 8 Heeren Street, in Malacca.
The Badan Warisan Malaysia office is at the southern end of Jalan Stonor, where it meets Jalan Conlay. The office is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It has a gift shop where you can buy items that will support the organisation and its work. There are also books related to heritage that are available for purchase there.
