Bangunan Tabung Haji, between Menara PNB and G-Tower (15 November, 2009)
Bangunan Tabung Haji (GPS: 3.15838, 101.71982) is a 39-storey skyscraper in downtown Kuala Lumpur. Located on Jalan Tun Razak, it is the headquarters of the pilgrimage fund board. Construction of the building began with the laying of the foundation stone by then prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on 15 January, 1982, and the building was completed in 1984. It was officiated by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Mahmood Iskandar, on 19 September, 1985.
Bangunan Tabung Haji has a gross floor area of 600,000 square feet (55,700 square meters). It is designed in the modern interpretation of the Islamic architecture style. The building which stands at a height of 152 meters (500 feet) has seven levels of car park, two levels of service floors, two levels of multi-purpose facilities and 27 levels of office space.
