Cheras Gospel Centre, Kuala Lumpur

Cheras Gospel Centre (GPS: 3.12516, 101.73674) is a brethren assembly in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. It is located in Taman Shamelin Perkasa. It was established around 1977 due to church-planting efforts of believers at the Jalan Imbi Chapel, which lead to the conveyance of regular prayer groups and a Sunday School at Taman Billion, Cheras.

As the assembly established itself in the Cheras area, the work expanded to include youth meetings, ladies' meetings and gospel meetings. The believers in Cheras moved to their present premises in April 1981. The property was purchased through the Jalan Imbi Chapel building fund. This enabled the believers to hold their first worship meeting in their new premises on 3 January, 1982.

Cheras Gospel Centre is located in a commercial part of Cheras, surrounded mostly by commercial properties. At time of writing, an apartment complex, the Shamelin Star SoHo Residences, is under construction next to it.
