SMK Convent Bukit Nanas (GPS: 3.15247, 101.70082) is a major school in Kuala Lumpur. Located on Jalan Bukit Nanas, comprises the primary SK Convent Bukit Nanas 1 & 2, and the secondary SMK Convent Bukit Nanas. The school traces its beginnings to 1899, thus making it among the oldest schools in the country.

As with the St John's Institution down the road, Convent Bukit Nanas was established by Catholic missionaries. In this case, it was the nuns of the Congregation of the Holy Infant Jesus. The school, in its earliest incarnation, was housed in the garden shed of a private home on Ampang Road, by the banks of the Gombak River, across from Bukit Nanas, where the present school is located. Its first decade was nomadic, with a sojourn to Brickfields, where it occupied a building that was formerly the Victoria Hotel.

Convent Bukit Nanas shifted to its present location in 1911. The choice of a higher ground is to prevent the school from being interrupted by floods. The English Gothic-style school building, now used by the primary schools, was completed in that year.

As with most schools in the country, Convent Bukit Nanas saw an interruption during the Second World War, when school went into recess until the Japanese Occupation was over, and the headmistress Rev. Mother Adele returned to continue operating it.

In 1958, the Convent Bukit Nanas Primary School was established, and from then on, the school split into primary and secondary schools. Three years later, in 1961, the Convent Bukit Nanas Secondary School began offering Form Six classes.

Convent Bukit Nanas was one of four schools in Malaysia honoured with a commemorative stamp, in a series issued by Pos Malaysia on 16 December, 2008.
