Galeria Sri Perdana (GPS: 2.95311, 101.68932) is a memorial preserving the former official residence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. It is located along Jalan Terengganu off Jalan Damansara in Bukit Persekutuan.
Galeria Sri Perdana served as the residence of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad from 23 August, 1983 to 18 October, 1999, when his official residence relocated to the Sri Perdana Complex in Putrajaya.
After Tun Dr Mahathir vacated the building, it was unused until 2003, when the subsequent prime minister opened it as Galeria Sri Perdana on 20 December, to showcase the memorabilia of his predecessor. Visitors are allowed to explore the various rooms of the residence, to get a feel of the residence of Malaysia's fourth prime ministers. Photographs and personal belongings of Tun Mahathir continue to grace the various rooms of Galeria Sri Perdana. Of interest includes the workshop where Dr Mahathir indulge in woodworking.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
