Jalan Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur
Jalan Kampung Pandan is a major road in
Kuala Lumpur. It stretches out in an eastward direction to connect downtown Kuala Lumpur with
Kampung Pandan. Jalan Kampung Pandan starts at the intersection with
Jalan Imbi, and ends at Jalan 1 in
Kampung Pandan.
As would be expected, Jalan Kampung Pandan was named after a village by that name. According to
Kuala Lumpur Street Names1, the village was called Kampung Ru, before it became Kampung Pandan, based on documents from 1951.
Major Junctions and Intersections of Jalan Kampung Pandan
Jalan Imbi Intersection 
This is the western start of Jalan Kampung Pandan, where it continues from
Jalan Sultan Ismail.
Jalan Barat Flyover 
Flyover across Jalan Kampung Pandan connects Jalan Barat with Changkat Thambi Dollah.
SMART Tunnel Access 
Entrance to the
SMART Tunnel from Jalan Kampung Pandan. On the opposite side of the road is the exit lane from the SMART Tunnel.
Jalan Yew Interchange 
This is a three-tier interchange between Jalan Kampung Pandan with
Jalan Yew and
Jalan Tun Razak. This is further expanded with the construction of the
Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (E39).
Jalan Perkasa Interchange 
The western start of Jalan Perkasa is where Jalan Kampung Pandang curves to the north.
Jalan 1/76 Junction 
At this junction, drive straight to Jalan 1/76 while turn right to continue on Jalan Kampung Pandan.
Jalan 1 Junction 
The eastern end of Jalan Kampung Pandan is at a T-junction with Jalan 1 and Jalan Kanan 1.
