Jalan Pahang is a major road on the north side of Kuala Lumpur. It connects Jalan Genting Kelang in the north with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in the south. Just as Jalan Ipoh was named for heading in the direction of Ipoh, Jalan Pahang was likewise named for being the road heading towards Pahang.
Jalan Pahang was originally known as Pahang Road. It probably was given that name because it bears in the direction of Pahang. At the northern end of Jalan Pahang is the interchange to Jalan Gombak which in turn continues north, all the way to the Pahang border.
Being a major road, Jalan Pahang forms quite a number of junctions and intersections. The main interchanges for Jalan Pahang are with Jalan Tun Razak and the DUKE Expressway (E33). On the southern end, Jalan Pahang meets Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman at the intersection with Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz.
Smaller roads forming junctions with Jalan Pahang, from south to north, include Jalan Datuk Haji Eusoff, Persiaran Hospital, Jalan Taiping, Jalan Bidor, Jalan Pahang Barat, Persiaran Titiwangsa 3, Persiaran Titiwangsa 1, Persiaran Titiwangsa, Jalan 3/48a, Jalan Pahang Kecil, Lorong Titiwangsa 5, Jalan Titiwangsa, Jalan 9/48a, Lorong Chow Thye, Jalan Chan Chin Mooi, Jalan Puah Jaya, and Jalan Langgak Bukit.
Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
