Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz is a major road in Kuala Lumpur. It can be considered the road on the northern border of Kampung Baru. On the northern side of the road is the complex of departments associated to Hospital Kuala Lumpur. On the western end, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz begins at the intersection with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Pahang and Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. On the eastern side, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz meets Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra in a junction. In between, it forms junctions and intersections (from west to east) with Jalan Haji Hussein, Lorong Haji Hussein 2, Jalan Dr Latif, Jalan Raja Abdullah, Lorong Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, Jalan Daud, Jalan Mahmud, Jalan Datuk Abdul Malik, Jalan Haji Hashim, Jalan Abdul Manan Nordin, Lorong Raja Laut 1, Jalan Puan and Jalan Tun Razak.
Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz has undergone a number of name changes. It was originally known as Jalan Simpang. Then it was renamed to Princes Road, to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales in 19221 Later it was renamed once again, to Jalan Raja Muda, to commemorate the appointment of the Raja Muda of Selangor on 13 May, 1950, ascending the throne as Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in 1960, and eventually being installed the 11th Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 26 April 1999. Sultan Salahuddin died in office on 21 November, 2001, after reignintg for two years and 6 months, before completing his term.
