Jalan Yap Tai Chi, Kuala Lumpur (2 August, 2019)
Jalan Yap Tai Chi is a minor road in the
Bukit Bintang neighbourhood of
Kuala Lumpur. It connects with
Jalan Imbi on one end and Jalan Palmer on the other. The road was named after the tin miner and tycoon who was the fourth son of Kapitan Cina Yap Kwan Seng. Yap Tai Chi had a rubber goods factory along
Jalan Pudu which started operating in 1929. He passed away in 1950. The road was named in his honour nine years later.
