klpac (GPS: 3.18077, 101.68664) is a performing arts centre in Kuala Lumpur. It is housed in the rehabilitated Kuala Lumpur Train Depot in Sentul. The 7,614-square-meter facility has a main theatre with a 504-seat capacity, and a smaller theatre that accommodates 190 people. There is also a 100-seat hall for multi-purpose use, and nine studios for training and rehearsals.
klpac was originally called The Actors Studio@Plaza Putra. It was established in 1995 by Faridah Merican and Joe Hasham at Dataran Merdeka. After a major flood in 2003 cause massive damage to the premises of The Actors Studio, the centre underwent a rebirth, as the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac), and was relocated to its present location, which was a readapted train depot. klpac was made possible through the support of YTL Corporation and Yayasan Budi Penyayang.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
