Masjid As-Syakirin (GPS: 3.1572, 101.71609) is the mosque within the KLCC Park. It was completed in 1996, and was registered as a surau, or prayer hall, for Petronas staff. Later on, it was elevated to a mosque when it came under the administration of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council.
Masjid As-Syakirin is two storeys tall. It prayer hall is topped with a cup-shaped dome. In 2009 the mosque underwent an expansion so that its capacity could be increased from 6000 worshippers to 12,000 worshippers.
