Petronas Tower 3 (GPS: 3.15667, 101.71123) is the third Petronas tower at KLCC. As with the Petronas Twin Towers, it was designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, the architectural firm of César Pelli. It is 58 storeys tall, and stands at a height of 267 meters (876 feet). The Petronas Tower 3 was formerly called Menara Carigali, as it is home to Petronas Carigali, the exploration & production subsidiary of Petronas. The building has a gross floor area of 900,000 square feet.
Petronas Tower 3 is on Lot 3, and is part of KLCC phase 2 development. Ground breaking took place in late 2006. The foundation was completed in 2009, and the building completed in 2011. The main contractor for the project was Daewoo Engineering & Construction.
