Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur (28 December 2023)
Tun Razak Exchange (GPS: 3.14202, 101.71823), also called TRX, and formerly as Kuala Lumpur International Financial District, is an iconic mixed development created to be the financial district of Kuala Lumpur. Concurrently planned with Bandar Malaysia, it is intended to place Kuala Lumpur on the map as one of the major financial capitals of Asia.
The Tun Razak Exchange project is being developed on a 70-acre piece of land bounded by Jalan Tun Razak to the east, Jalan Kampung Pandan to the south, Jalan Kampung to the northwest and Jalan Utara in the northeast. Within the area will be the Tun Razak Exchange MRT Station, the largest underground station of the Kuala Lumpur MRT system.
The master plan for Tun Razak Exchange calls for the construction of 26 buildings with a total gross floor area of 21 million square feet. Anchoring the development is the 112-storey Signature Tower, which will be among the tallest buildings in Kuala Lumpur. There will also be a lifestyle shopping mall, two 5-star hotels and up to six luxury condominiums. 24% of the area will be given over to open spaces and greenery.
The Exchange 106, previously called Signature Tower, is the centrepiece of the Tun Razak Exchange development. The 106-storey 492-meter skyscraper is developed by the Mulia Group. It will house luxurious commercial office units. The skyscraper offers 4 million square feet of Gross Floor Area (GFA), and is targeted for completion in 2019.

Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
