Democratic Government Museum Malacca (1 May, 2009)
Democratic Government Museum (GPS: 2.1931, 102.24895), or Muzium Pemerintahan Demokrasi, is a museum at St Paul's Hill in Malacca. It used to be the Melaka State Assembly building. The laying of the foundation was done by the then governor of Malacca, Tun Haji Abdul Malek Yusof on 31 August, 1961. It was in used until February 2000, when the state assembly moved to Ayer Keroh.
Today this building houses the Democratic Government Museum to document the evolution of democracy and to provide a narration of the country's achievement in terms of democracy.
