Serkam, Malacca

Serkam is a small coastal town in Malacca. It is located on the road between Malacca Town and Muar, to the west to Merlimau.

The people in Serkam were traditionally engaged in the fishing industry. Even today, the coastal area has a number of restaurant specializing in grilled fish which draws patrons from Malacca Town and other places in the state.

Visiting Serkam

Take Federal Route 5 from Malacca Town heading west (south) in the direction of Muar.
